Midway Woods

The residents of Midway Woods love living just beside Decatur City as they are able to benefit from lower taxes. Located south of Winnona Park, most of the Midway Woods residents have been zoned for first-tier admission to the Museum School. They also enjoy convenient access into the 7-acre park which has a mini-trail following the Shoal Creek-Dearborn Park. The homes at Midway Woods are mostly made in brick Cape Cod-style reminiscent of the 1950's with expansive tree-lined streets. These historic homes have gone through intensive renovation to preserve its original architecture while new constructions are likewise going on.
