Druid Hills

Druid Hills is considered as Atlanta’s second suburb that has evolved as one of its affluent neighborhoods and tightly knit communities. It has around 15,000 residents and is an employment hub for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as Emory University. On the southeast side of the neighborhood is Fernbank Forest and Recreation Center. Just 5 miles east of downtown Atlanta, it is home to several big-name Atlanta residents with 4 National Register districts. The home styles that abound Druid Hills are Tudor, Italian Renaissance, Georgian, and Jacobean. There are also small bungalows and twentieth century Victorian mansions.
